Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how Revion Games ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Block Man mobile application ("the App"). By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
Information We Collect
Information you provide:
- Username — chosen by you during registration. No real name is required.
- Password — stored securely using bcrypt hashing. We never store or see your plain-text password.
- Avatar selection — the in-app avatar you choose from our preset options.
Information collected automatically:
- Device information — operating system and device type, collected at login to help detect unauthorized access.
- IP address — logged at login for security and abuse prevention.
- Game scores and statistics — high scores, challenge results, and gameplay data submitted to our leaderboard.
Information We Do Not Collect
- Your real name, email address, or phone number
- Location data (GPS or network-based)
- Camera or microphone access
- Photos or files from your device
- Payment or financial information
- Data from children under 13
How We Use Your Information
- Create and manage your in-app account
- Display your username and score on the global leaderboard
- Enable multiplayer challenges between users
- Protect against fraudulent or unauthorized access
- Improve app performance and gameplay experience
Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
Your username and score may be visible to other users through the public leaderboard. No other personal data is shared publicly. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.
Data Retention & Deletion
Your account data (username, scores, game history) is retained for as long as your account is active.
You may delete your account at any time from the Profile tab in the app. Deleting your account permanently removes your username, scores, and all associated data from our servers.
Data Security
We take reasonable technical measures to protect your data, including:
- Encrypted password storage (bcrypt)
- Token-based authentication with automatic 30-day expiry
- All data access restricted to authenticated users only
No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we are committed to protecting your information.
Optional Usage Analytics
If you enable Optional Usage Analytics and save this privacy notice, Google Analytics for Firebase processes certain analytics data on our behalf. This data is not completely anonymous and may include:
- An app-instance ID and device and app information
- Session and engagement information
- Bounded game mode and gameplay-result events, including score, combo, and Adventure level events
We do not send usernames, account IDs, or messages in these custom analytics events.
The analytics selection is preselected, but it is optional. You can turn it off before selecting OK or later in the App's Settings. Turning it off stops future collection; data already sent to Google's servers is not automatically deleted.
Analytics advertising ID and SSAID collection are disabled. Analytics ad-storage, ad-user-data, and ad-personalization signals are denied. Any AdMob consent request is handled separately.
This acknowledgment is not blanket consent and does not constitute consent to personalized advertising. Google processes analytics data under its own terms and privacy practices. See Google's Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy.
Children's Privacy
Block Man is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it promptly.
Your Rights
- Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you
- Correction — update your username via the app
- Deletion — permanently delete your account and all data via the Profile tab
- Objection — contact us to raise concerns about how your data is used
Third-Party Services
The App connects to our own backend server for authentication, leaderboard, and multiplayer features. If you enable Optional Usage Analytics as described above, the App uses Google Analytics for Firebase for that optional analytics processing. Any other third-party services are described in this policy where applicable.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected with an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
